Kia Lease Return Bryan, TX

How to manage the end of your lease

One of the most interesting parts of a lease is the time when it's about to get all wrapped up. While you can simply return your leased Kia to us and pay for any lease-end charges, you have several other attractive possibilities at the same time. Here's a brief overview of what happens at the end of your lease, how to return your leased Kia, and what some of your more attractive options are.

60 - 90 days before your lease is over, think about your options

If you still have 2-3 months before lease-end, it's a good time to decide whether you want to follow one popular approach by returning your Kia to us and leasing another new Kia. Once you've paid the lease-end charges, you don't have to worry about selling that car because you don't own it. But you can sign a new lease and drive home in another new Kia.

60 days before your lease ends, it's time to have your Kia inspected

The exact time may vary, but this is typically when a representative from Sterling Kia will reach out to schedule a complimentary inspection of your Kia. At this time we'll determine whether you'll have any excess damage or wear-and-tear fees on your leased Kia. The 60-day period allows you time to get any needed repairs done in our Sterling Kia service center before the end of your lease.

30 days before the end of your lease, the final countdown begins

About 30 days befor your lease contract expires, it's time to reach out to us at Sterling Kia in Bryan, TX to set a time and date for turning your leased Kia or other leased vehicle back over to us. If it hasn't been done already, we'll take care of any vehicle inspection that might be required. If there are damages or wear-and-tear items that exceed what the contract allows and that need repair, you can schedule those in our service center.

The end of your Kia lease

Once the contract requirements are fulfilled, bring your keys and the owner's manual for the final turn-in. This, of course, will typically be done on the last day of your lease contract. That's the time when you can provide receipts for whatever repairs you've completed. When the lease details are taken care of, you will officially return your leased vehicle to us.

A popular lease-end option: Lease a new Kia

When your current lease is concluded, you'll obviously need transportation and one of the most common ways to arrange that is to sign up for a new Kia lease. It's a relatively easy way to make the transition to a new Kia in a seamless way. We suggest you start shopping for a new Kia to lease from our current new vehicle inventory two or three months before lease-end. Just let us know and we'll help you get the newest Kia designs and features.

You have other lease-end choices as well

By the end of your lease, you may have fallen in love with the Kia you've been leasing. If that's the case, ask us about buying that Kia and keep a good thing going. Another good option: You can choose to buy a brand-new Kia and start building real cash equity in the car you drive every day around College Station, TX or wherever you live. We'll be glad to discuss your lease-end options at Sterling Kia in Bryan TX.
